During the months of the summer season, people repeatedly asked how the Grandhotel Giessbach felt in winter. Now is the opportunity to find out for yourself. Away from conventional luxury and the hustle and bustle of everyday life, towards unspoilt nature and soothing tranquillity.
From November 2024 to March 2025, the Grandhotel Giessbach will open its doors to individual guests and various events from Wednesday to Sunday. (Betriebsferien 15.12.2024-24.01.2025) Celebrate your very own occasion in the "fairytale castle" and winter-enchanted nature park. For exclusive events, the hotel and the restaurant remain closed for guests who are not participating in the event.
After an invigorating walk in the park, read your favourite book by the open fire while enjoying a hot cup of tea or a matching glass of wine. In the evening, our restaurant team will spoil you in the historic rooms with loving creations and lots of regional culinary delights from the famous Giessbach kitchen.
Our restaurant "Les Cascades" is also open for day guests at lunchtime and in the evening. Please make a reservation in advance and find out about the opening hours.

Hotel opening hours
From November 2023 to March 2024, the hotel is open from Wednesday to Sunday.
Exceptions:
During exclusive events such as the Giessbach Sessions, i.e. closed parties, the hotel and the restaurants remain closed for all guests who are not participating in the event.
Opening hours Restaurant & Bar
From November 2023 to March 2024 the restaurant and bar will be open from Wednesday noon to Sunday afternoon. You can find out more in the menu item Restaurant & Bar.
Please call us in advance to reserve a table.
For exclusive use, i.e. closed parties, the hotel, the restaurant and the bar remain closed for all guests who are not participating in the event.

Dogs
Dogs are not allowed in the park restaurant Les Cascades, in Le Tapis Rouge or in the breakfast room. You are welcome to leave your four-legged friend with our team at reception.
Dogs are welcome in the lobby and hotel bar and on the bar terrace. If available, also in the Salon Davinet.
